Return for your photo session as newlyweds – alone or with your bridal party – where the beautiful backdrop and unequalled Promised Land mountains provide the perfect place for memorable images.
The Gleniffer Hall, 700 metres away, is an extremely popular venue for wedding celebrations – book early. With a delightfully small chapel, garden arbour and classic country hall, it is ideal for catered indoor or outdoor events.

My partner and I spent our sixth anniversary at Cottonwood – a one bedroom private cottage on a property bordering the Never Never River on the outskirts of Bellingen, NSW. After a long day in the car, we were greeted with an immaculate and well-presented space that had us pinching ourselves for all three nights of our stay: we woke to views of misty eucalypt mountains and birdsong, spent afternoons reading from the cottage’s diverse and contemporary library, and spent evenings next to the wood stove sipping wine and marvelling at our luck. The cottage is also equipped with a modest kitchen, a homely table, two lovely armchairs for reading and a bed as big and soft as the afternoon sky. The bathroom and walk-in wardrobe are both set separately behind the main space. There is also a porch, hifi (with playlists curated to suit your stay), and a well-stocked fridge (jam, eggs, bread, and enough other things to keep us content). Most beautiful and relaxing romantic stay ever!!”

- Turn onto the bridge at the Post Office in Bellingen.
- Follow the road to the first roundabout.
- At the roundabout, take a left turn and follow the road out of town.
- At the next fork turn right.
- Follow the road all the way to the crossroads where you will see the hall on the right.
- At the crossroads turn left onto Gordonville Road.
- 700m along, just before the first bridge, take the second driveway on the left. (The drive way has black poles and a blue Cottonwood sign).
