they say nice things…
“Bliss. Perfect. Faultless. Gentle. My partner and I spent our sixth anniversary at Cottonwood – a one bedroom private cottage on a property bordering the Never Never River on the outskirts of Bellingen, NSW. After a long day in the car, we were greeted with an immaculate and well-presented space that had us pinching ourselves for all three nights of our stay: we woke to views of misty eucalypt mountains and birdsong, spent afternoons reading from the cottage’s diverse and contemporary library, and spent evenings next to the wood stove sipping wine and marvelling at our luck. The cottage is also equipped with a modest kitchen, a homely table, two lovely armchairs for reading and a bed as big and soft as the afternoon sky. The bathroom and walk-in wardrobe are both set separately behind the main space. There is also a porch, hifi (with playlists curated to suit your stay), and a well-stocked fridge (jam, eggs, bread, and enough other things to keep us content). Most beautiful and relaxing romantic stay ever!!”

“The cottage is SO beautifully done – we don’t want to leave ! The misty hilltop seen from the front windows is too good to be true. We have stayed in many luxury cottages but I knew Cottonwood could easily creep to NO 1 position when I spied the Nespresso Coffee Machine!!
Dan and Suzanne – thank you for creating this beautiful cottage and sharing this experience ! Cant wait to join the Cottonwood swimming club ! Many, many thanks. ”

Its a credit to you both and cannot be faulted. Sorry! Everything is perfect! You have thought of everything to the minute detail. Cottonwood, your house, the landscape, its all just beautiful. Dearest Dan, Suzi and Gayle .. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful place with us. Not only is the cottage astonishingly beautiful…but so are the three of you!! James and I stayed for our wedding night and myself and my bridesmaids prepared for our wedding day here. Dan and Suzi were sharing in our excitement and even lent us their brand new Audi for a wedding car!! Couldn’t get any more beautiful here.
Thank you ..and we’ll be back

“Cottonwood Cottage has got it ‘right’. As seasoned B & Bers, we have stayed in many beautiful places, but Cottonwood has the fine details down pat! So much beauty in and outside, so peaceful, so relaxing. My Husband appreciated the ‘techo’ side, enough power points, music and movies. I could have stayed till I read every magazine and book! I guess being the second-only paying guests will be a very short lived title for us. All the best in your piece of paradise.”

“Perfection! From the moment we drove up the driveway … we loved every minute. Booking was a breeze thanks to Gayle! We have been here for two nights to finish off our babymoon and wish we could stay longer, such calm and serenity.
Every Detail has been thought of, we cant thank you enough. Thankyou ! ”

We stayed at Cottonwood farm for 7 nights whilst on our honeymoon. It has been such a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. We have LOVED it and do not want to leave! Gayle has made us feel very special and has spoilt us rotten : ) Cottonwood farm is a reinvigorating, relaxing part of the world and allowed us to reflect on our wonderful wedding. We have enjoyed swimming in the cleanest freshest water surrounded by a cathedral of trees, the beautifully decotated and functional cottage and the outdoor bathroom. We will be back! THANK YOU!
